Summer Intern: Tc Bovine
SAB Biotherapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical development company headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD is developing and manufacturing fully human polyclonal antibody immunotherapies leveraging its herd of transchromosomal bovine.
SAB, founded in 2014, develops human antibody therapeutics using its first-of-its-kind (premier) natural human immunotherapy platform leveraging transgenic cattle (TcBovine™). The TcBovine have been genetically designed to produce large amounts of human polyclonal antibodies (immunoglobulin G) in response to a target disease. The company’s first two treatments are in clinical trials, with other infectious disease, oncology and autoimmune targets in development.
We’re seeking an outstanding candidate for the unique opportunity to intern at our first-of-its-kind biopharmaceutical production pharm near Canton, SD caring for the Tc Bovine.
- Computer experience.
- Commitment to safety and quality culture.
- Two years of cattle handling and cattle health experience.
- Preferred majors include Animal Science, Pre-vet or Dairy Science.
- Large animal experience helpful but not necessary.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Status: Paid at approx. 40 hours/week
