Research Associate, Molecular Genetics & Immunology (MGI)

We're seeking a Research Associate to perform assays, MMCTs, cell cultures
and other technical procedures in addition to writing research protocol and
reporting experimental data under the supervision of the MGI Manager.

Essential duties:

• Conduct routine laboratory procedures, assays, and experiments according to protocols.  
• Complete training and submit records on established protocols, assays and procedures. 
• Collect, evaluate, interpret and document research data according to scientific objectives.
• Log, store and maintain samples with accurate records for research and production projects. 
• Maintain laboratory to ensure smooth operation and timely lab activities. 
• Prepare and ensure quality of reagent solutions and media.
• Provide training as needed to other lab personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Requires bachelor’s degree in biology or relevant fields with 1-5 years of experience in a lab setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others and present information in one-on-one and small group meetings.
• Utilize established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile analyze and present data.
• Ability to write technical reports and keep accurate records; detailing procedures, outcomes and observations.

Quality Assurance Manager


We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance team,
to ensure that processes, conform to written protocols and governmental regulations; are GLP compliant and
all employees are appropriately trained. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, he or she will conduct
internal audits to monitor processes, facilities and systems; have full responsibility over vendors or external
audits and review and approve all written controlled documentation.

Essential duties:

• Conduct internal audits to monitor production system processes, procedures, and training to ensure compliance.
• Ensure external audits on selected vendors are conducted for compliance. 
• Ensure controlled documents, product approvals and any changes undergo final approval by Quality Assurance. 
• Perform annual training on GLP set up by the FDA to all employees. 
• Provide leadership in the development and validation of the Animal Information Management System. 
• Assist on other projects in the department or from other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others and present information in one-on-one and small group meetings.
• Ability to write technical reports and keep accurate records; detailing procedures, outcomes and observations.
